5 Super-Easy Steps for Looking Flawless—Fast!

Make up Monday!

Apply a moisturizer with SPF
Use concealer only where you need it, under eye circles and blemishes. Try a creamy formula, in a shade that matches your skin tone. Choosing a shade lighter is a myth…  Circles under your eyes that are too light make the eyes look like you wore goggles while tanning.  Apply in little stripes, then blend using your ring finger and be very gentle not to tug on delicate under eye areas.

Apply Foundation
Using a complexion brush like a giant marker, draw thick lines down cheekbones, the sides of your nose and above brows, and blend in a circular motion. For a lighter coverage, put a small amount of moisturizer on the back of your hand and blend into already applied foundation for a sheer, dewy finish.

Apply Blush
Apply to your cheekbones, and then blend the color up toward your temples. Have fun with color! Bright, bold hues like a berry shade can look natural if blended properly, but if you’re color-shy, build the intensity by gradually layering it on. If you have applied too much blush, smooth out a clown-like situation by applying a very small amount of foundation onto the area and blend.

Apply a sheer shimmery shadow
If your skin is fair, try a silvery white shade. For medium to dark skin tones, opt for a champagne color. To get an extra bright-eyed effect, dot the color onto the inner corners of your eyes. Shimmer colors also help hide stray eyebrow hairs if you don’t have time to tweeze! Apply from lash lines to brow bones for a quick fix!
You can also blend a bronze shade in your creases. There shouldn’t be any harsh lines or stripes of color; it should look blended and effortless.
Finish off by using eyeliner in black to make eyes POP or in a brown color for a more natural look. Apply two coats of mascara.

Gently buff lips and apply lip balm
If your lips are dry and chapped, gently buff with a lip scrub or washcloth. Apply a liberal amount of lip balm, let it sink into the lips, and blot with a tissue if it feels too slippery. If you are lipstick person, rub a piece of ice over your lips before putting on lipstick or gloss. This will help color last all day and prevent it from bleeding.

Ta-da, you’re done!
