Halloween is my favorite!
I am a shy person so I think Halloween allows me to put on a costume and be a little goofy.
Candy Corn is a Halloween staple.
I remember having so many in my pillow case when I was a kid.
It seems fitting that my first Halloween series nail design is candy corn.
It was incredibly easy, uses no tools and takes no time at all.
I did two accent nails and the others I made into a french tip.
I thought it turned out really well!
Here is what you need:
- Base Coat
- White nail polish
- Orange nail polish
- Yellow nail polish
- Top Coat
Step 1:
Start by applying a base coat. This helps to protect the nails.
Then apply a white polish to the nails.
For my accent nails I applied white to the whole nail, for the french tip I applied to the tip of the nail - about 1/4 of the nail.
Step 2:
Leaving a strip of white polish, apply orange polish to the nails.
Step 3:
Leaving a strip of orange polish, paint the tip of the nail yellow.
Step 4:
Let nails dry a few minutes and apply a top coat. Letting the nails dry will help prevent smudging.
TA-DA!
