You’ve probably heard about Hairfinity hair vitamins from
celebrities like Kim Kardashian (Keeping up with the Kardashians), Phaedra
Parks (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), as well as regular people, promoting
and raving about Hairfinity.
When Hairfinity reached out to me and asked me to review a
two month supply a couple of months ago, I was really curious to try and see if
they really do work to promote hair growth and healthier hair.
According to Hairfinity, their hair vitamins supplements are
formulated to nourish the hair from the inside out to promote long, thick, and
more vibrant hair.
Here are some of the ingredients in these vitamins:
Biotin-
Biotin promotes healthy hair growth and protects against dryness. Increases elasticity
preventing breakage. Helps produce keratin that prevents hair loss.
Niacin- (Vitamin
B3) - Niacin promotes scalp circulation Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) –
prevents hair loss.
Vitamin A-
Vitamin A is an antioxidant that helps produce healthy sebum in the scalp.
Vitamin C-
Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps maintain hair and skin health.
Vitamin D-
Vitamin D helps prevent hair shedding which is critical to a voluminous fuller
head of hair.
Vitamin B12-
Vitamin B12 is essential to the formation of healthy red blood cells and helps
transport oxygen to the scalp and follicles, which is required to sustain hair
growth.
Vitamin B Complex-
Vitamin B Complex nourishes and supports a healthy scalp environment and
healthy hair growth. Deficiencies in these vitamins can lead to hair thinning,
hair loss, graying, and weakening of the hair structure.
EXCLUSIVE
CAPILSANA™ COMPLEX- delivers a unique blend of Hydrolyzed Collagen,
MSM, and Silica provides 18 Amino Acids, which are the building blocks of the
protein that gives hair it's strength. The exclusive complex also provides
sulfur required for healthy collagen and keratin, which are essential to
healthy hair growth.
Just to name a few…
According to the instructions on the bottle, I took two Hairfinity capsules – one during the day and one at night every day.
A
few weeks prior to receiving Hairfinity, I cut about 6 inches off of my hair –
I wanted a change.
After
about a month of taking the supplements I did notice my hair was longer and I
wanted to cut it again but I didn’t.
I noticed my hair was softer and longer in length.
I loved the pink packaging!
that being said, Everyone is different and each person’s body will react
different to different things.
This was my experience:
- I had bad headaches and dry mouth starting a week after
starting the supplements and it didn’t subside until after the 2 months and I stopped taking the supplements.
- Really dry mouth - I know drinking water several time a day is good but I was practically drinking
a whole bottle all at once several times a day…
- I normally have really thick hair, about a month into taking
the supplements I noticed my thick hair was thinning. It was confusing because it is supposed to
help give thick, voluminous hair. Instead it gave me flat thinning hair.
- I also noticed other hair on my body - underarms, legs and especially my face - was growing faster and thicker. The small baby hairs everyone has on their face were really noticeable in pictures I would take.

At first it didn’t click that these symptoms were side effects
from Hairfinity until I noticed reviews saying people have had reactions to Biotin
which is used in this product.
I have never had a reaction like that before.
I feel bad, I always want to be positive but I also want to
be honest.
Hairfinity did make my hair ( all of my hair)grow faster than it normally
would have but I personally had reactions to it that I didn’t like.
I guess it just isn’t a
product for me.
What was your Hairfinity experience like?
*Hairfinity did not want me to post this as it is not a positive experience, after several requested revisions of the blog post over a 2 month period and later several attempts to receive approval with no response from Hairfinity, I decided that I wanted to give my honest opinion on a product I tried and post this blog post*
