Different Ways to Part your Hair - for all face shapes

One of the easiest ways to change your look is switching how you part your hair. While many of us find a natural part and stick with it for years, sometimes it’s nice to change it up abit.

This easy way to freshen up your hairstyle and it doesn’t require scissors, dye, or fancy accessories.

Sometimes big changes happen with a simple change of part.

In this video tutorial, I show several different ways to part your hair and give some tips as well.

The Centre part:

This part became the signature style of ’70s and has continued ever since.

This down-the-center look is a great option for any occasion or face shape.

If you like the volume of the centre part but still want a side part look, take a small section of hair and bring it to the side ( as shown in video).

The Side Part

Almost everyone has hair that falls slightly to one side or the other naturally.

So this look complements most women, regardless of face shape.

For a casual feel, use your fingers to part your hair instead of a comb.

Switching your part from one side to the other can add so much more volume.

The Deep Side Part

Similar to the side part but far more dramatic.

Since more hair on one side it adds more body to the hair.

You can also allow the side with extra hair to fall slightly across your face, adding a little mystery.

The Zigzag Part

A jagged line is fun and casual and flatters any face shape.

Better yet, it's a great way to camouflage overgrown roots.

Highlights and color are generally applied to hair that's parted in the middle or slightly to the side, so concealing the part can obscure the look of dark/ grey roots.

You can either use your fingers to move narrow sections of hair to either side until a zigzag was formed or a rat tail comb.
