Wet n Wild Megalast Lipcolor Review

Wet n Wild is one of my favorite makeup companies, not only is it good quality products for an inexpensive price but they are also cruelty-free and even have vegan products.

Wet n Wild’s Megalast Lipcolor Lipsticks come in twenty colors, all with a semi-matte creme formula.

They are made with “Hyaluronic Microspheres” which provide adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts, Vitamins A and E help to smooth lips.

The claim is that they last up to 4 hours and glide on easily with no feathering, bleeding or caking. Those claims are all pretty true!

They do last 4 hours but didn’t stay as creamy as I would have liked. When applying, it felt soft and smooth but once dry, my lips needed some extra moisture – after about 2 hours of wear I can feel my lips drying out if I don’t use a lip balm underneath.

Pink Sugar is a very light salmon nude pink. This is one that is very mod, very 60’s and not so easy to wear every day.

Mauve Outta Here is a medium rose color. It is a bright fun color but at the same time it’s a very wearable pink shade with a strong purple undertone.

Sugar Plum Fairy is a gorgeous purplish plum with pink undertones. This might be my favorite one because it’s a perfect dark pink/purple color and it’s bright but not too bold. Love it and have worn it several times already.

Coral-Ine is a coral red color. It’s a beautiful color and not just another red, it’s bright and fabulous, great for a classic look.

These are really quite great overall!

There are some issues with the more pale colors looking chalky and hard to wear for everyday looks, but most of them have great pigmentation and are really nice colors.

If you have drier lips you will definitely want to wear a lip balm underneath them to keep your lips moist.

Which ones are on your list to check out?
