With spring slowly approaching I wanted to get in the mood with
some pretty flowers.
I used pinks and whites but you can use any color you would
like.
I also used a striping brush for the flowers but you can use
a toothpick.
It’s a pretty design that is really easy to do.
Here’s what you need:
- Top Coat
- (Optional) Matte Top Coat
- (Optional) Striping brush
- (Optional) Dotting tool
Apply base coat to protect the nails.
Apply a light pink base color. Let completely dry.
Using a nail striping brush or toothpick dipped in a color
other than your base color (I chose white), apply an “X” shape onto the nail.
Then draw a line or two through the “X” shape. These are the flower petals.
Apply 2 or 3 flowers onto the nails. You can alternate
flower colors if preferred.
Apply an alternate color to the centre of the flowers using
a dotting tool or toothpick.
Add a few dots in between the flowers to bring the manicure together.
Apply a Top
Coat and for a velvety finish apply a Matte
Top Coat.
I thought this was a fun way to bring in the spring.
Hope you liked this design!
