This is a little different than my usual reviews, but it came at a perfect time because lately I’ve been so bored with my cooking.
It’s so easy to fall back on the same meals time and again making
meals boring so when RawSpiceBar contacted me and offered to send me some
spices in lieu of an honest review, I jumped at the chance.
I was excited to try their subscription box because I love
spices and the concept sounded so unique.
If you’ve needed a little more creativity in your kitchen I
think you’re really going to love this!
RawSpiceBar is a subscription box delivering a small collection
of freshly-ground spice blends directly to your door.
The spices are toasted and ground individually right before
being packaged for deep flavors and aromas.
EACH BOX YOU GET:
3-4 freshly ground spice blends from one geography or region
(enough to create 3 dishes serving 8-12 people)
3 kitchen-tested recipe cards (plus additional recipes
online)
Spice blend tasting notes, origin & history
Surprises like bonus spices, toasting tips, discounts and
other fun stuff!
WHY I LOVE RAWSPICEBAR:
Spices are such an easy and affordable way to create more
variety in your meals.
Spices were one of my favorite ways to add something different
to a meal like adding some spices to vegetables.
I love that RawSpiceBar’s blends come from all over the
world because it’s been really fun to experiment with flavors from places that
I’ve never been or might have never thought to try.
I added the Punjabi Garam Masala spices to the Pot Roast and
Potatoes I had for supper the other day. It added spicy yet sweet flavor to my
food with a blend of Coriander, Fennel, Cumin, Peppercorns, Cinnamon, Green and
Black Cardamom, Bay Leaves, and Star Anise.
I was excited to try the Unpumpkin Pie Spice as well, it has
Ginger, Allspice, Cinnamon, Peppercorns and Star Anise.
