Diagonal Nail Design

I always like to come up with easy no tool nail designs.

I saw these Stripe Nail Vinyl by Glam my Mani on Nail Polish Canada and had to get them. They come in a set of 270 and I like that it has different thickness sizes depending on what design you want to do – not bad for $7.25!

You can choose any nail polish colors, I chose white and Red for Canada Day Colors and I used a silver glittery nail polish for the waterfall type effect at the tip of the nails.

I found applying a fast drying top coat and letting the polish dry has saved time before applying the nail vinyl and when removing the vinyl, it really helps to keep the edges nice and clean without nail polish sticking to the vinyl and ruining the mani.

Here’s what you need:

-         Base Coat
-         White Nail Polish
-         Red Nail Polish
-         Silver Glitter Nail Polish
-         Nail Decals
-         Top Coat

Apply a base coat to help protect the nails and prolong the manicure.

Apply a base color, you might need two coats to make it nice and opaque.

Apply a fast drying top coat and let nails dry completely.

Apply the decals to the nail on a diagonal.

Apply the second color to one side of the nail.

Carefully remove the nail vinyl.

Using a toothpick dipped in the silver glitter polish, apply lines down the tip of the nail in different lengths.

Apply a fast drying top coat and you’re done!

I like this design because it is a simple design without going overboard.
It was super easy to do and looks really cute!
