Best Hairstyles if you are Running Late

Fall is the best time to experiment with your style. You might not have the budget for new clothes or accessories but trying out new hairstyles can be a great way to change up your look.

These super easy hairstyles are perfect for those days when you’ve hit the snooze button a few too many times and can help you get that perfect hair in a few minutes.

Rock a ponytail

Though it’s a classic style, there are plenty of ways to freshen up a ponytail.
This is a quick easy ponytail that looks well put together.

Braided Ponytail

This adds a little something extra to a basic ponytail.

Wear a bun

Like the ponytail, a bun is a great go-to hairstyle that you can dress up or down for work, school or special occasions.
Buns are easier to make if you haven’t washed your hair for a day or two. If you just washed your hair, you can add some texturizing spray for more hold and to add a little more grit.

The Mid Bun

This is a great style that can also be dressy or messy. It might take a practice or two but once you’ve mastered it, it can be a great professional style if you are running late.

Braided Styles

Once you get the hang of it, a braid is a quick style that looks sophisticated. Before you begin to braid your hair, make sure you comb it well and get out any tangles.

This video has 3 braided hairstyles that are easy, take minimal tools, and very quick to style.

The Dutch braid can give you a perfect look for a gorgeous wedding and also for a casual day look.

Loose Waves

If you have naturally straight hair, this can be a great way to achieve a soft, romantic wavy look.
If you have naturally curly hair, you might want to define your curls so that they are sleek or a more loose curl.
The following tutorials show techniques to get a great casual tousled look.

Change your Part

A quick and simple way to change your look is to change the way you part your hair.

If you normally part your hair to the side, change the side that you part it on or try a middle part.

If you have a middle part, try moving the part over to one side of your head or try a zig-zag part.

This video shows different ways to part your hair. It is great for all face shapes.
