RawSpiceBar Review

It’s so easy to fall back on the same meals time and again making meals boring so when RawSpiceBar contacted me last year and offered to send me some spices in lieu of an honest review, I jumped at the chance and have loved their spices ever since!

I was excited to try their subscription box because I love spices and the concept is so unique.
If you’ve needed a little more creativity in your kitchen I think you’re really going to love this!

RawSpiceBar has a new build your own subscription box delivering a small collection of freshly-ground spice blends directly to your door.

The spices are toasted and ground individually right before being packaged and you can tell by the deep flavors and amazing aromas the spices have.

After answering a few questions like diet, favorite foods to cook, favorite ingredients to use and subscription frequency, RawSpiceBar will send you 3 freshly ground spice blends from one geography or region. There are enough spices to create 3 dishes serving 8-12 people.

My Thoughts:

Spices are such an easy and affordable way to create more variety in your meals.
Spices were one of my favorite ways to add something different to a meal like adding spices to bland vegetables.

I love that RawSpiceBar’s blends come from all over the world because it’s been really fun to experiment with flavors from places that I’ve never been or might have never thought to try.

The spices I received are Malaysian curry, Salt free Greek Seasoning and Corned Beef Spices.

I added the Malaysian curry spices to a Pot Roast and Potatoes I made for supper the other day. It added spicy yet sweet flavor to my food with a blend of Turmeric, cumin, coriander, black peppercorn, cinnamon, cloves and chilies.

I was excited to try the Salt free Greek Seasoning, I like Greek spices anyway but this has been great sprinkled on potatoes and chicken because it has Black peppercorns, onion, garlic, oregano, thyme, dill, rosemary, lemon peel, parsley, cinnamon and nutmeg.

I wasn’t sure if I would like Corned Beef Spices but with Peppercorn, bay leaves, all-spice, cinnamon, ginger, coriander, cloves, yellow, brown and black mustard seeds, I have been adding it to my soups and sauces.

I’ve been really excited about sharing this review because RawSpiceBar is such an easy and affordable way to get inspired in the kitchen.

If you like a certain spice, you can order it online for only $6.

They also have Spice Sets ranging from $26 - $125, where you receive 6, 12 or 24 spices.

They just introduced a monthly subscription for only $9 and the Yearly Subscription is $88, regardless of the season, this makes an awesome gift for a family member or friend.
