With the Holidays approaching I wanted to share some of my favorite makeup
choices for each occasion - Christmas Party, Family Get - together and New
Year's Party.
With putting up decorations, baking, cooking and wrapping you want to look your best and not exhausted.
Here are my favorite go-to products:
Christmas Party
- Start with a good foundation to even the skin tone,
cover any redness and give that flawless complexion.
- Add a nice smoky eye, followed by a little Glitter eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes - to give the
eyes a great POP!
- Use liquid eye liner for a bold look.
- If you feel like having a more dramatic look, add some false lashes.
- Use a lengthening mascara to open the eyes and give
a wide-eyed look.
- Finish off with a makeup setting spray and add some
glitter to nails.
I like to be a little more dramatic for Christmas parties, I do think the eyes should be the focus - which is why I chose to use a light blush and lip gloss.

If you know me, you know I like some sparkle ;)
Family Get-Together
- Start with a good foundation to even the skin tone.
- Apply a nude shadow, favorite eyeliner
and mascara.
- Apply a light pink blush, matte
translucent powder.
I'm usually more casual for family get-togethers, I put on a
nice shirt and dress pants but keep my makeup more low key.
New Year's Eve Party
- Start with a good foundation to give that flawless complexion.
- Add a nice nude eye, followed by a
little Glitter eyeshadow in the inner
corners of the eyes - to give the eyes a great POP!
- Use liquid eye liner for a bold look. Line eyes with some glitter eye liner.
- For a more dramatic look, add some
false lashes.
- Use a lengthening mascara to open the eyes and give
a wide-eyed look.
- Apply a bronzer for contour, add a shimmery pink blush to cheekbones and some matte translucent powder.
- If you would like, you can also add a nice red lip,
otherwise a light nude or pink will work well.
If I'm going to a New Year's Party, I want to shine. The fireworks, champagne and great company. What is a better way to welcome in the New Year!
